This gun is a reference to the publisher of Enter the Gungeon, Devolver Digital.Devolved enemies will spawn with full health, in some cases granting them more health than before transformation.
Devolving an enemy causes it to drop coins. The devolve effect also does not work on Mimics however, bullets will still occasionally play the "devolve" sound when hitting a Mimic. The devolve effect does not work on bosses. This changes the bells into Arrowkin as well as sending out the ring of bullets they usually emit upon death, so using the gun in this fight is not recommended. The devolve effect also works on the bells spawned by the Mine Flayer. Serious Sam Publishing Contract - If the player has Serious Cannon, alongside the cannonball, Serious Cannon fires a screaming Beheaded Kamikaze who chases enemies and explodes on contact. When the player gains the Overdose synergy through Lich's Eye Bullets, bullet speed is increased for all guns. Overdose - If the player also has Heavy Bullets, Heavy Bullets no longer decreases shot speed (this applies for all guns, not just Devolver). 
The glow disappears if the player stops moving.
Cool Kids Club - If the player has Strafe Gun, continuously moving with the Strafe Gun held gives the player a yellow glow, increasing movement speed. Contractual Obligation - If the player has Gungine, a pool of oil spawns underneath enemies killed using it. Its bullets have a high chance to devolve enemies into Arrowkin. OS: Windows 7, 8, 8.Can reduce any target (or situation) to a more debased state.
